Welcome, to the UKD Safety Department.
We want all our pilots to enjoy their
flights as much as possible, however, we want it to be carried
out safely too.
This is the place UKD pilots should come
for all things safety related, be it genning up on flight minimums
or wanting a nice new UKD fluorescent waistcoat because the last
one got dropped in a puddle on the apron.
You are advised to check the site regularly
for any Safety bulletins that will be posted that may have bearing
upon your flights. Hopefully any issued by the online Networks
(IVAO, Vatsim etc) shall be posted or at least linked to.
Also available is an 'incident reporting'
section to allow the reporting of 'near misses' or emergency situations
that may (though hopefully not) arise during all aircraft operations.
Once a report has been filed, the UKD safety team will be called
in to investigate (no we don't have a special illuminating red
phone!)
